When Sprint and Nextel merged in 2005, there were a number of websites serving both consumer and business users that needed to be re-branded and launched within an extremely aggressive timeframe. Level Five was part of the original team that developed the initial brand launch for the merger announcement that required NDA access. Our primary responsibility was ensuring the site content and creative was updated in coordination with the new brand launch.
As the timeline approached Day Zero launch, we were asked to work closely with Sprint's business and technical resources, as well as third-party vendors to ensure that the deadlines were met. Our task was to resolve the IT issues that were threatening the launch success. There was a significant amount of culture conflict between multiple stakeholder groups across both Sprint and Nextel, but we were able to effectively resolve the issues and gain buy-in for a successful launch.
Our project management skills and brand and marketing expertise helped us succeed in launching the new Sprint brand. We successfully launched the new Sprint/Nextel website on time and within budget. Due to the success of the Day Zero launch, we were retained through the launch of the Day One activities.
We continue to play an important role with Sprint, and because of the work we did on the merger, we have been engaged on numerous projects and ongoing support.
"Level Five went above and beyond their normal roles and was extremely dedicated and willing to assist in any manner."
